Want to be the ruler of post-nuke Roblox? Our Radiant Residents guide is here to help you get started in the post apocalypse with some helpful hints on how to play this ruthless survival game.

Radiant Residents is a Roblox game that puts you in an unenviable position.. a nuclear bomb hits in 60 seconds. Fortunately, you’re a well-prepared block person and you have your own fallout shelter, even if it’s seen better days. You need to use your time wisely to decide what you’re going to take into your little bunker… and you only have one minute to decide.

You can check out Radiant Residents on Roblox.

Radiant Residents Guide

Here we’ll try and go over the basics you need to know.

The First 60 Seconds

You, and possibly your friends, were sat watching TV, and suddenly a notice appears on the screen. There’s a nuclear strike heading your way! Panic!

No, don’t panic. Strategize!

You can pick up objects, return them to the bunker entrance, and interact with it to drop off the good you’re holding. Drop off goods as many times as you want, but don’t forget the clock is ticking and you need to be inside the bunker when the clock hits zero.

You have the next minute to gather as many useful items as you can. Here are our tips.

  • You can hold four normal items in your hands at any one time, two medkits, or one special item. Don’t try and grab things like gasmasks and blueprints if you don’t have completely empty hands.
  • Food and water are plentiful and also something you’ll need access to to survive. These are also frequently used as currency in deals later.
  • Rat traps and buy spray aren’t vital, but they will save you potential health-draining fights down the line.
  • Duct Tape’s used to seal leaks. You can seal them without it, but you’ll need to complete a minigame to be successful.

Surviving In The Shelter

Congratulations! You survived the nuclear blast! Now you have a whole new set of problems to deal with, so best of luck with that.

There are a number of things you must keep an eye on to stay alive.

  • All players need food and water periodically. You don’t need to eat every day, but water depletes faster than food. Once you run out you’ll need to head on an expedition to acquire more, which is a risky move.
  • The generator needs regular charging. If you don’t have extra items to do so, you need to complete a mini-game. This isn’t a very difficult game, but make sure to keep on top of it by regularly checking the generator.
  • Trade offers will appear via the PC on the desk. Check in from time to time for useful info and goods on offer.
  • Pipes and ceilings will rupture. You need to use items or complete a minigame to fix them.

Dangers

The post-nuke world is full of hazards. Learn to deal with the dangers of the wasteland to survive and thrive.

  • Creatures come through the vents. You can deter them with rat traps for rats, and bug spray for spiders. If you don’t deal with them, they’ll eventually break in and force you to finish them off with a weapon. You can check the vents to see if anything is waiting in there, and close the vent or place deterrent items.
  • Zombies may break in through gaps in the walls. Once the wall breaks you need tools to repair the breach, or more zombies keep coming periodically.
  • The Stalker will sometimes pay you a visit. An alert warning of an ‘Eerie Feeling’ will warn you of his arrival. You need to destroy his camera, which is hidden somewhere around the shelter, to send him away. If you don’t address it, The Stalker will show up in person. …you don’t want that.
  • Random events will show up, often various odd characters demanding supplies from you. If you refuse there could be consequences, and a minigame for your life might result, though this might be preferable to giving up your hard-earned supplies.
